ABOUT ME

I'm a freelance Wildlife, Sacred and Fine Artist living and working in Brittany, France. My art work is mostly dedicated to very fine Portrait, Wildlife, Landscape and Sacred Paintings in oil, watercolors and pencil, using both renaissance and academic methods as well as contemporary approaches to the techniques of painting and drawing. My main interest in my art is to create works that convey the “presence” or “feeling” of the depicted subjects as a tangible force that creates on the viewer the impression of connecting with the presence of the represented subject. In my work I consider myself as a bridge maker, reconnecting the renaissance and academic traditions with the modern and contemporary approaches to concept and technique.
