ABOUT ME
Who am I... Positive and forward thinking. Looking and listening for Opportunity to knock. Experienced from the School of Hard Knocks, where I was knocked down, several times, but I get up, dust off, move on and up.
What am I... resourceful, knowledgeable, intelligent, humorous, witty, enthused, excited, diligent.
Where am I... as close as a keyboard or phone call, I do call Texas my home, that can change for the right job.
Why am I... because I have "Gump'd" my way through this world, no... but because I have cared about who I worked for, and the job that I did for them. From the time I was a boy, I was taught, by my father, to live up to my word and do the best job even in the worst of circumstances or job positions. 4 years of NAVY life, not looking through the bottom of a glass, at new worlds, but exploring them. Learning their traditions, people, culture, and touching as much of the history's as I could. SWTSU, where I spent time learning a trade that inspired me. Taking classes that were beyond just the needed to fulfill an obligation, but that would serve as objectives to the insights of further thinking.
Not Just another Art-ist. I got lucky. I was in the right places at the right times. I got to meet and work with some fantastic people in the music scenes in and around the Austin, Tx. area. I owe a lot to names like; Ray Wiley Hubbard, David Bear, Jeff Hogan, Arley Blankenship, Erik Hokannan, Keith Carper, John Inman, and a cigar smoking man named Pat. They changed the way that I looked at, listened to, and felt music of all genre.
I was introduced to the world of micro radio and performed once a week, a 4 hour show, for over 3.5 years.
I lived, breathed, sweat, ate, and slept art, and today. Art, in all types, substrates, media, and music, flow around me, through me, and keep my soul soaring.
My Graphics background reaches from the restaurant media in all of its forms, to designing layouts for Real Estate listings in a major market. Mail outs to catalogs. Cupon's, blow-ins and door hangers.
